Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher are getting married in July, the Ottawa Citizen has learned.
The specific date and location remain under wraps and that seems to be fuelling speculation and gossip about the high-profile nuptials between the singer and hockey player.
On Wednesday, an agent representing the Ottawa Senators centre dismissed Internet chatter that the couple are bickering over wedding plans and they've postponed the wedding.
OK! magazine said that Underwood and Fisher have been facing off in a "last-minute" wedding showdown, adding the couple were forced to move the date of the ceremony to the later half of the summer, rather than in June.
Underwood, a big winner last week at the CMT Music Awards, has resumed her North American tour, which is to continue until mid-December. She's currently on a western-Canada swing that stops this weekend in Winnipeg and Saskatoon. Then, she has a few more concert dates in early July, but her social calendar is wide-open after July 5, but she's back on the road July 31.
